Practical structure

How online sessions work

Remote counselling offers the same depth and confidentiality as in-person therapy, without the commute. Here is what to expect from our time together.

A tidy wooden desk with a laptop by a window in a quiet British study

Secure UK video calls

End-to-end encrypted via Zoom or Whereby

Session format

50-minute focused conversations

We meet at an agreed regular time each week. Prior to the session, you receive a direct, private link. There is no software to install or complicated login required; simply click to enter our secure room.

What you will need for each call

Device & screen

A laptop, tablet, or desktop with a working webcam and microphone.

Stable connection

Standard broadband or reliable mobile data suitable for video streaming.

A private space

A quiet room where you feel comfortable speaking without being overheard.

If technical issues arise

If our video link drops or your internet falters, we pause and attempt to reconnect. If the connection cannot be restored, the session will be rescheduled.
