Clinical Standards & Approach

  • Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
  • Over a decade supporting adults through distress
  • Strict adherence to professional ethical standards
  • Tailored integrative methodology

Therapy does not need to feel clinical, awkward, or bound by clichés. For over a decade, I have worked with people dealing with acute anxiety, persistent low mood, relationship breakdown, career burnout, and the quiet weight of midlife changes.

Many clients who come to Morning Counselling—particularly men in their thirties, forties, and fifties—have never spoken with a counsellor before. Some worried they would be judged or handed textbook answers. My approach is straightforward, collaborative, and entirely secular. We look honestly at what is happening in your life and find realistic ways forward.

While I have particular experience supporting men who might otherwise hesitate to seek help, my practice warmly welcomes women and adults of any background or belief. Every session is structured around your specific circumstances, values, and pace.

Practical

Actionable clarity over open-ended vagueness

Sessions focus on your day-to-day realities and what needs to shift. We look at patterns that keep you stuck and build concrete ways to respond differently to stress, work pressures, and life transitions.

Thoughtful

Respectful of your values and worldview

A secular, open space welcoming to people of any faith or none. We explore your decisions and difficulties without judgment, unwanted jargon, or ready-made dogmatic answers.

Human
